Oklahoma City School Board Member and Northwest Classen Graduate Files for OKCPS District Board Chair seat
Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma City native and attorney, Charles Henry filed today to become the next Board Chair for the Oklahoma City Public School District. “I’m running to make the school board accountable to the people and to create a successful learning environment that will benefit all OKCPS students in reaching their full potential”. A great number of OKCPS children are not being provided the structure needed to be successful.
“I could not sit by and watch for another four years, children in our district fail to reach their full potential.” said Henry. “We must face the challenges in the OKCPS School District and the socio-economic declines in many OKC communities. Only then, can we make the tough choices to provide a quality education for all our children.” Safe schools build strong schools. Strong schools build strong neighborhoods.
“If elected, I will be a leader who will ensure the public’s voice is heard and make OKCPS a place where families want to send their children. We can’t do this work in just some schools, but we must work to accomplish it in every school.”

He also attended Webster Middle School, Creston Hills, and Monroe Elementary.
